"We recently moved from Indiana to Knoxville, TN. I located Shannon by searching for Realtors® on the internet. After reading her web page as well as several reviews by satisfied customers I contacted Shannon through her webpage. She contacted me via email within 24 hours. After contact, we set up a time to talk on the phone. We talked for a half hour or so and she asked all the right questions to get an idea of our situation and what we were looking for in a home. She focused on our highest priorities in buying a new home. Since this was going to be our 3rd home purchase, we were very particular about things that we wanted as well as things that we did not want. Shannon listened to all of our wants and desires but also made it clear how things were in Knoxville. She does not sugarcoat situations. She explains things as they are. At first, it may seem like she does not want to agree with you, but you soon realize she is just telling you the reality. She immediately set up a portal so we could look at houses that were available. She set up filters to only give us the homes that met our criteria. She worked with us on changing the filters as we changed our minds about areas and pricing. She was always very quick to respond to all of our requests. During our first trip to Knoxville, we saw about 12 homes. We were somewhat disappointed, as after this trip, there were only 3 that we might consider. For our second trip, we had about 20 more that we wanted to see. Since Shannon now had a good idea as to what we were looking for, she helped us to eliminate several homes that she knew we would be disappointed with. On our second trip, we found the home we wanted to purchase. The negotiation with the seller was a little bit of a battle, but Shannon helped us to stay focused and with her advice, we were able to reach an agreed-upon price on the home we loved. Shannon also recommended mortgage companies, title companies, and inspection services and provide listings of other service providers in the area. Since we are not from Tennessee, this information was extremely valuable. We used one of the mortgage companies that she recommended Mortgage Investors Group. The approval process and loan process went through flawlessly. We closed on the date we anticipated without any issues. While awaiting closing, Shannon helped with making arrangements for Champion Fence to come to the property to give us a quote on a new fence at the home. This way we were able to make arrangements for fence construction to begin shortly after closing. Even after the closing, Shannon maintains contact and provides helpful information. She is not just a great Realtor®, she goes above and beyond what my expectation is of what a Realtor® should do for a home buyer.
